Social Intel (socialintel.io) sells digital data products. All purchases are processed by PayPal.
Because datasets are delivered electronically, our refund terms reflect the digital goods policy. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.
This policy applies to all paid purchases made through Social Intel, including:
Catalog datasets are free to download and do not require a purchase.
Refunds are available for Pro plans only. Individual and custom dataset purchases are non-refundable after delivery.
That said, you have many opportunities to evaluate datasets before committing to a purchase. Every catalog dataset includes a free sample download (up to 10K rows), a complete field list, and platform metadata so you can verify the data meets your needs before buying. Custom dataset requests come with a full specification breakdown, pricing estimate, and platform coverage details before you approve delivery. With these preview tools, refunds are rarely needed — but when they are, Pro plans are covered.
Pro plans are one-time purchases billed via PayPal. Refund terms:
To cancel and request a refund: Go to your Billing page and use the Cancel button. You will need to confirm your password. If you are within the 7-day risk-free trial period, the refund will be processed automatically.

We respond to all refund requests within 1–2 business days. Once approved, refunds are sent to your original payment method via PayPal within 3–5 business days.

We maintain download logs (timestamp, IP address, and user account) for all dataset deliveries. This information may be used to assess refund eligibility and detect abuse.
Repeated purchase-and-refund requests, or requesting refunds after downloading datasets, constitute abuse of this policy. Social Intel reserves the right to deny refund requests and suspend accounts where abuse is identified. Refund history is tracked per account.
Technical issues on our platform that prevent you from accessing a purchased dataset will always be remedied — either by resolving the issue within 24 hours or by issuing a full refund.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Active customers will be notified of material changes via email.
