Refund Policy

Social Intel (socialintel.io) sells digital data products. All purchases are processed by NOWPayments, a non-custodial cryptocurrency payment gateway. Payments are made in cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, and 100+ other coins).

Because datasets are delivered electronically and crypto transactions are irreversible by nature, our refund terms reflect both the digital goods policy and the characteristics of on-chain payments. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.

All payments are made in cryptocurrency via NOWPayments. Please be aware:

• Crypto transactions are irreversible on-chain — once a payment is confirmed, it cannot be recalled by the sender
• Refunds, where approved, are issued in USDT (TRC-20) or the equivalent USD value in the coin you paid with, at our discretion
• Exchange rate fluctuations between payment and refund are not our responsibility — refunds are issued at the USD value at time of original payment
• You must provide a valid crypto wallet address to receive a refund

This policy applies to all purchases made through Social Intel, including:

• Individual dataset subscriptions ($15/month per dataset)
• Pro plan monthly subscriptions ($59/month)
• Pro plan annual subscriptions ($570/year)
• Custom dataset collection services

Individual dataset subscriptions grant you immediate access to a digital file. Because the product is delivered electronically and its value is realized upon download, no refunds are issued once a dataset has been downloaded or accessed.

A refund may be issued if:

• You have not yet downloaded or accessed the dataset and request a refund within 24 hours of confirmed payment
• The dataset you received materially differs from the description on the catalog page (wrong platform, significantly fewer records than stated, corrupted file)
• A technical error on our platform prevented you from accessing the file at all

If you believe your purchase qualifies, contact us at info@socialintel.io within 7 days of purchase with your NOWPayments invoice ID and a description of the issue. Once approved, we will issue the refund to your provided crypto wallet address within 3–5 business days.

Pro plan subscriptions are billed via NOWPayments. Refund terms:

• First charge only: if you have not downloaded any datasets under your Pro subscription and request a refund within 48 hours of confirmed payment, we will issue a full refund to your crypto wallet
• If you have downloaded datasets under your Pro subscription, no refund is available for that billing period — the data has been delivered
• No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period
• Since NOWPayments subscriptions do not auto-renew, there is no recurring charge to cancel — simply do not renew when your period expires. You retain Pro access until the end of your paid period

To request a refund: email us at info@socialintel.io with your NOWPayments invoice ID and your wallet address for the refund.

Annual Pro subscriptions ($570/year) are a single upfront crypto payment. Refund terms:

• Full refund — within 48 hours of confirmed payment if no datasets have been downloaded
• Pro-rata refund — if you have been a subscriber for less than 3 months and have downloaded fewer than 10 datasets, we may issue a pro-rata refund at our discretion. Contact us to discuss.
• No refund — after 3 months of active use or after significant dataset downloads

Custom dataset orders have different refund terms based on project progress:

• Full refund — if you cancel before data collection begins (within 24 hours of payment confirmation and before work has started)
• 50% refund — if you cancel after collection has started but before the dataset is delivered
• No refund — once the dataset has been delivered and you have been given access to download it
• If the delivered dataset does not match the agreed specifications, we will re-collect at no charge or issue a full refund at our discretion

When a refund is approved:

• Pro subscription access is revoked immediately upon refund approval
• Individual dataset download access is deactivated
• Any data files already downloaded must not be used commercially or shared. By accepting a refund you agree to delete any downloaded files

Email us at info@socialintel.io or use our contact form. Include:

• Your registered email address
• The dataset or plan purchased
• Your NOWPayments invoice ID (found in your payment confirmation email)
• Whether you have downloaded the dataset
• Your crypto wallet address for the refund (USDT TRC-20 preferred)
• The reason for your request

We respond to all refund requests within 1–2 business days. Once approved, refunds are sent to your provided wallet address within 3–5 business days.

Once a refund is approved:

• Refunds are issued in USDT (TRC-20) or the coin you originally paid with, at our discretion
• The refund amount is based on the USD value at the time of your original payment — we do not cover gains or losses due to crypto price movements
• Network transaction fees are deducted from the refund amount
• You will receive a transaction hash as confirmation once the refund is sent
• On-chain confirmation typically takes 1–30 minutes depending on network congestion

Because crypto payments are irreversible, traditional chargebacks do not apply. If you have a payment dispute, please contact us directly at info@socialintel.io — we resolve legitimate issues promptly.

We maintain download logs (timestamp, IP address, and user account) for all dataset deliveries. This information may be used to assess refund eligibility and detect abuse.

Repeated purchase-and-refund requests, or requesting refunds after downloading datasets, constitute abuse of this policy. Social Intel reserves the right to deny refund requests and suspend accounts where abuse is identified. Refund history is tracked per account.

Technical issues on our platform that prevent you from accessing a purchased dataset will always be remedied — either by resolving the issue within 24 hours or by issuing a full crypto refund. If NOWPayments marks a payment as failed but funds left your wallet, contact us immediately with your transaction hash and we will investigate and resolve it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Active subscribers will be notified of material changes via email.
