Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 17 — commonly known as the right to erasure or right to be forgotten — you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Social Intel. Similar rights are also available under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable privacy laws.
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving a verified request, and we will notify you once the deletion is complete.
When you request data deletion, the following information is permanently removed:

Retained data is fully anonymised — all direct identifiers (email, name, user ID) are irreversibly removed.
You may request data deletion if you are:
Option 1 — Settings (recommended for active users):
Log in to your account, navigate to Settings, and click Delete Account. You will be prompted to confirm your decision. This initiates an immediate deletion process.
Option 2 — Email request:
Send an email from the address associated with your account to privacy@socialintel.io with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include your full name and account email address so we can verify your identity.
Option 3 — Third-party data removal:
If you believe your personal data appears in one of our datasets and you are not a registered user, email privacy@socialintel.io with details about the content and its location. We will review and respond within 30 days.
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorised deletion, we must verify your identity before processing any deletion request. The verification method depends on how you submit your request:
If you change your mind after submitting a deletion request but before it is processed, contact us immediately at privacy@socialintel.io. Once deletion is complete, your data cannot be recovered.
